What is Barre?
Essentially, most barre-based classes combine elements of ballet, pilates, yoga and even dance and functional training. The sequence of movements are choreographed to upbeat and motivating music. In each energizing and targeted workout, you'll use barre and exercise equipment such as small hand weight and mini-balls to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body. Barre's tiny motions, reps and intentional squeezing and pulsing are designed to fatigue muscles to failure by exhausting the muscles and forcing them to tone. The fast pace and variety of exercises makes the time spent in class go by very quickly. This is a group exercise to enjoy with others.

What is POUND?
It is the world's first cardio jam session inspired by the infectious and sweat dripping fun of playing the drums! Pound uses Ripstix, which are lightly weighted drumsticks that incorporates drumming while working out. Pound distracts you from counting reps and keeping track of your exercise program. It is a group activity and is designed for all fitness levels. Songs chosen are two to four minutes long and are designed with internal peaks and variated sequences. In a 45 minute Pound class you can perform up to 15,000 reps, 30 extended interval peaks and drummed through over 70 techniques without even realizing it.
